Mechanical Engineer

Mechanical Engineering Company in Melville is looking for Mechanical Engineer with some experience in HVAC design for commercial and residential buildings. We are a Long Island based firm that provides engineering services for the five boroughs, Long Island, and Westchester County. The candidate must have good technical, written and communication skills. Reliable transportation a must (field work). Benefit package includes medical, vacation, paid holidays and Simple IRA.

Salary based upon experience.

Qualifications: 3 + years experience. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of Autocad, building mechanical systems (HVAC). Knowledge of ASHRAE standards, NYS and NYC Building Codes, NYC Local Law 97 and 87 a plus.
