Our client, a global investment firm with a strong focus on credit strategies, is looking to add a seasoned credit attorney to its Legal & Compliance group. The position will support an expanding registered investment adviser business by advising on regulatory compliance, governance, and day-to-day fund operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal support on the structuring, formation, and management of private and registered funds.
• Collaborate with the business development team on marketing material review and client requests
• Act as point of contact for external counsel
• Review and negotiate fund documentation

Requirements

• Juris Doctor
• 3-7 years of legal experience either at a law firm or an in-house role
• Proficiency in credit strategies and vehicles
• Knowledge of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and the Investment Company Act of 1940 preferred but not required
