Associate Attorney

About the position:

Brandt Law Group is seeking a Real Estate Litigation Associate who is a Washington-licensed attorney with strong communication skills, research and writing skills, strong academic credentials, and the ability to work independently, as well as part of a small team. The ideal candidate will have some litigation practice experience, and will be expected to:

Participate in all aspects of discovery, including depositions, motion practice, court hearings. mediations, arbitrations, and trials;

Draft, analyze, and respond to motions, pleadings, and correspondence;

Research and analyze real estate, community association, and other related issues; and

Communicate well with staff, prospective and existing clients, witnesses, and counsel.

Desired Skills:

Self-motivated, with a desire to learn community association law (homeowners associations, condominium associations, and other common interest communities), construction law, and other areas of real estate law;

Robust interpersonal skills;

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment;

Strong attention to detail;

Sharp analytical and investigative skills;

Desire to aggressively advocate for clients using strong communication skills and persuasive negotiation tactics;

Takes ownership of responsibilities of the position;

Quick study of new concepts and information;

Understanding of Washington State civil procedures and current court rules and procedures in King and Snohomish County Superior Courts;

Job Type: Full-time, in-office or hybrid

Pay: $130,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year, DOE
