The Heights Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking an experienced, organized, and dependable Business Office Manager (BOM) to join our leadership team.

The Business Office Manager plays an important role in the financial operations of our skilled nursing and rehabilitation center and works closely with residents, families, facility leadership, and our corporate support team. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, professional, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

• Manage day-to-day business office operations

• Oversee resident accounts, billing, collections, and accounts receivable

• Assist residents and families with financial questions and account information

• Manage Medicaid pending accounts and assist with the Medicaid application and eligibility process

• Verify insurance coverage and maintain accurate payer information

• Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on private-pay and other receivables

• Process resident trust fund activity and maintain accurate documentation

• Complete required reports and maintain organized financial records

• Coordinate with facility leadership and corporate billing/financial teams

• Ensure business office practices comply with company policies and applicable state and federal requirements

• Maintain confidentiality of resident and financial information

• Previous Business Office Manager experience in a skilled nursing facility, long-term care, or healthcare setting strongly preferred

• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, private pay, and insurance billing preferred

• Experience with Medicaid pending applications and collections is a plus

• Strong organizational and follow-up skills

• Excellent communication and customer service abilities

• Comfortable working with financial reports, spreadsheets, and computer-based systems

• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities with accuracy

• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
