Accounting Manager

Responsibilities:

• Lead all aspects of cost accounting and general accounting activities, including month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, financial reporting, inventory accounting, product costing, and variance analysis in compliance with U.S. GAAP, SOX, and internal control requirements.
• Partner with operations and supply chain teams to improve manufacturing performance through cost analysis, inventory management, make-versus-buy evaluations, cost modeling, and continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency and cost reduction.
• Support business planning and decision-making by leading budgeting, forecasting, scenario modeling, profitability analysis, business risk assessments, and capital investment evaluations, including ROI and NPV analyses.
• Serve as a key financial systems leader by optimizing ERP, reporting, and business intelligence tools, driving process automation, improving data integrity, standardizing processes, and enhancing financial reporting capabilities.
• Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. • Support internal and external audit activities and ensure the timely delivery of accurate financial information to divisional leadership and corporate stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 7-10 years experience in accounting in a manufacturing environment
• Experience working within ERP environment
