Reports to: Senior Manager of Accounting

Will manage: 2 Accountants (1 Senior Accountant & 1 Accounting Supervisor)

Location: Palm Beach County (Hybrid work schedule)

Compensation: $130,000-$150,000 plus Bonus

Requirements:

• CPA license Required
• 6+ years of experience in Public Accounting or a mix of public accounting (Assurance) and Corporate Accounting

Job Duties:

• Own the monthly consolidation and financial close process across a large, multi-entity organization, partnering directly with operating company leadership to keep reporting accurate and on schedule
• Serve as the technical accounting resource for the group, researching complex GAAP questions and documenting the conclusions that guide how the company reports
• Lead annual goodwill impairment testing, translating market and business conditions into defensible analysis
• Drive the accounting for business combinations, including purchase price allocations and intangible asset valuation, giving you direct fingerprints on how acquisitions xevrcyc get recorded
• Identify and execute process improvement initiatives, with real latitude to change how things are done rather than just following existing procedure
• Support system implementations and internal control initiatives as the finance organization continues to scale
• Provide ad hoc support on acquisition due diligence, putting you in the room for deal activity most accountants only hear about after the fact
