Overview

As the Business Intelligence Director - Americas, you drive insights that fuel growth and client impact by leading the Americas BI Center. You will guide industry and practice research, partner with cross-functional leaders, and shape strategies with evidence-based intelligence. You'll lead a high-performing, diverse team, advance operating practices, and champion responsible AI adoption to deliver practical value for consulting teams and clients. This role combines leadership, research excellence, and strategic advisory in a dynamic, global firm.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop managers across industry and practice research to deliver high-quality insights
  • Set priorities aligned with global BI Center strategy and Americas priorities
  • Build an inclusive, high-performing team culture focused on accountability, quality, and innovation
  • Provide coaching and development support to managers to grow leadership capabilities
  • Coordinate resource planning and workload management across peak business periods
  • Act as trusted advisor to senior leaders across Americas for growth and market positioning
  • Translate business needs into research and intelligence strategies for growth and client impact
  • Oversee research delivery including trends, competition, company and financial analysis for consulting and client delivery
  • Ensure outputs are practical and tailored to internal clients and client-facing stakeholders
  • Improve research products, workflows, and efficiency; expand repeatable deliverables
Key requirements
  • Seven+ years in business intelligence, market research, competitive intelligence, or related fields
  • Bachelor's degree; advanced degree preferred in business, finance, economics, information science, data analytics, or related fields
  • Proven leadership experience managing managers in a matrixed, fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of research methodologies, market/competitor intelligence, and financial analysis
  • Experience with research databases, market data tools, collaboration platforms, and firm-approved AI/automation technologies
  • Experience managing research vendors, data subscriptions, and cross-functional governance with Procurement, Legal, Risk, Finance, and IT
  • Ability to build credibility with senior executives and practice leaders, and translate business needs into actionable insights
  • Commercial mindset with judgment to deliver practical, actionable insights
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English; ability to present to senior audiences
  • Comfort leading through change and scalable processes; track record of multi-project delivery

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship
