Public Relations Assistant

Marketri LLC is a rapidly growing B2B strategic marketing consulting and Fractional CMO provider to mid-sized, growth-oriented companies throughout the U.S.

We are seeking a full-time Public Relations Assistant to help our team get high-impact placements and coverage for our clients. We need a dynamic professional with B2B experience especially in industries like professional services, technology, manufacturing, and SaaS.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develops dynamic media strategies that drive impact not just impressions
• Executes PR, influencer engagement, analyst relationships, and/or community outreach campaigns for clients that result in targeted media coverage
• Cultivates top-tier and targeted media relationships across B2B space as well as analyst relationships to foster coverage of client products
• Positions client executives as thought leaders through relevant speaking opportunities, media interviews and/or industry recognition (e.g., awards)
• Reviews and drafts press releases, media statements, speeches and other press materials
• Maintains a high awareness of relevant B2B PR industry trends to deliver fresh ideas that drive media coverage
• Tracks and measures PR efforts and demonstrate impact to client's business objectives
• Leverages AI tools to optimize media outreach and improve PR strategies

Required experience and skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in B2B public relations, with a demonstrated ability to manage and execute campaigns successfully
• Proven track record in executing strategic PR plans that drive results
• Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, with a keen eye for detail and an ability to adapt tone and style across various platforms
• Strong communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across teams
• History of setting ambitious goals and consistently achieving them, demonstrating resilience and innovation
• Experience with AI-powered tools in the PR or communications space, leveraging technology to improve efficiency and results
• Proficiency in MuckRack for media outreach, monitoring, and reporting
• PR agency experience highly preferred, with a proven ability to manage multiple accounts and clients simultaneously
