Project Engineer – Utility-Scale Renewables (Renewable Experience is Essential)

We are partnering with an established global power-generation company seeking a Project Engineer to support its growing portfolio of utility-scale renewable-energy projects.

This is an initial 12-month contract with the potential to convert into a permanent position. You will provide engineering support across multiple projects, working closely with internal stakeholders, EPC contractors and technical consultants.

Location: Remote within the Western or Central US. Texas is preferred; candidates in Colorado, California and Arizona will also be considered.

What you'll do

• Support multiple utility-scale solar, BESS and power-generation projects simultaneously
• Conduct technical due diligence and engineering design reviews
• Review and coordinate EPC and consultant engineering deliverables
• Identify technical risks, design gaps and project interfaces
• Support projects through design, construction and commissioning
• Communicate technical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Participate in occasional EPC and internal meetings requiring travel

What we're looking for

• An engineering background supporting utility-scale renewable-energy projects
• Direct project-engineering experience within utility-scale solar, BESS or comparable power generation
• Experience with technical due diligence and engineering design review
• Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple projects
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
• Engineering degree
