Plant Manager

Salary Up to $100,000 + Benefits + Paid Relocation to Western Tennessee

Our client, an established small manufacturing plant in Western Tennessee, is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead a 100+ employee manufacturing operation through its next stage of operational and cultural improvement.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows metal fabrication. We are specifically looking for a manufacturing leader with experience in sheet metal fabrication, welding, bending and forming, and powder coating operations.

The Plant Manager will lead the day-to-day operation while driving improvements in safety, quality, cost, delivery, productivity, and employee accountability. This person will have approximately seven production supervisors reporting to them and will oversee operations across multiple shifts.

What we're looking for in this Plant Manager:

• Plant management or senior manufacturing operations leadership experience
• Hands-on experience in a sheet metal fabrication environment
• Experience with welding, bending/forming, and powder coating
• Strong production floor leadership and the ability to earn credibility with an experienced workforce
• Experience improving plant performance, processes, workflow, and productivity
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing supervisors and building accountability

This is not a corporate oversight position. Our client needs a Plant Manager who is comfortable on the manufacturing floor, understands the processes, recognizes problems, and knows how to get results through people.
