The Mallory Laboratory at Albert Einstein College of Medicine is seeking a highly motivated Research Trainee to join a new laboratory investigating the neural mechanisms of memory formation, storage, and retrieval. This is an exciting opportunity to help establish a new research program from its beginning stages while gaining broad training in systems neuroscience.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Principal Investigator and laboratory members to assist with laboratory setup, perform rodent behavioral experiments, fabricate electrophysiology recording devices, and analyze large-scale neural recordings. This position is well suited for a recent graduate interested in pursuing a career in neuroscience, biomedical engineering, data science, or medicine.
As the laboratory grows, the trainee will have the opportunity to develop expertise in behavioral neuroscience, in vivo electrophysiology, neural data analysis, scientific communication, and experimental design.
