Forward Deployed Engineer - Salesforce Agentforce | Consumer Lending

Salary: $130,000 - $160,000 per year

We are looking for a hands-on Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to design, build and deploy Agentic AI solutions within a large-scale consumer lending environment.

This is a highly technical role combining Salesforce Agentforce, Salesforce Development and Generative AI, working directly with business stakeholders to turn real operational challenges into production-ready AI solutions.

The Role

You will be responsible for taking AI solutions from initial concept and prototype through to production, integrating Agentforce with lending platforms, enterprise systems and approved data sources.

Key responsibilities include:

• Design and deploy AI agents using Salesforce Agentforce


• Configure agent actions, instructions, prompts, workflows and orchestration


• Develop solutions using Apex, LWC, Salesforce Flow, SOQL and Platform Events


• Implement Generative AI, RAG, tool calling, grounding and prompt engineering


• Integrate Salesforce with lending, banking and enterprise platforms


• Build and consume REST/SOAP APIs


• Develop integrations using MuleSoft or similar platforms


• Implement human-in-the-loop workflows and approval checkpoints


• Test AI accuracy, reliability, security and performance


• Troubleshoot complex issues across Salesforce, AI services and integrations


• Take Agentic AI solutions from prototype through to production

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of software engineering experience


• Strong hands-on Salesforce development background


• Commercial implementation experience with Salesforce Agentforce


• Strong Apex, LWC, Flow and API experience


• Experience with Generative AI and Agentic AI architectures


• Knowledge of RAG, prompt engineering, tool calling and AI evaluation


• Experience delivering enterprise integrations


• Git, CI/CD and automated testing experience


• Strong stakeholder-facing and problem-solving skills

Experience within consumer lending, banking, credit unions or wider financial services is highly desirable.

Desirable Experience

Experience with any of the following would be advantageous:

• Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC)


• Salesforce Data Cloud / Data 360


• MuleSoft


• AutoRABIT


• Consumer lending processes


• Salesforce Agentforce Specialist certification


• Salesforce Platform Developer certification


• Previous delivery within banking or credit unions
