Director of Housekeeping

SkyBridge Luxury has been retained to conduct a highly confidential search for an accomplished Director of Housekeeping for one of New York City's premier five-star luxury hotels.

This is a senior leadership position requiring a sophisticated luxury hotelier who understands that exceptional housekeeping is about far more than room cleanliness. We are seeking a leader who has operated at the highest levels of luxury hospitality and understands the precision, consistency, discretion and highly personalized service expected by an exacting international clientele.

The Profile

The successful candidate will bring:

• Current or recent leadership experience within a true five-star/luxury hotel environment
• New York City hotel experience with Local 6 / union operations — required
• Significant experience leading Housekeeping operations and sizable teams
• An exceptional eye for detail and uncompromising standards for guest rooms, suites and public areas
• Strong knowledge of luxury service standards, quality assurance and operational best practices
• Proven ability to recruit, train, develop and hold teams accountable while maintaining a positive and professional culture
• Confidence operating in a demanding, high-touch environment serving discerning guests
• Strong organizational, labor management and financial acumen
• A highly visible, hands-on leadership style and genuine pride in the craft of luxury housekeeping

What We're Looking For

This search is specifically intended for candidates who have built their careers within recognized five-star luxury hotels and understand the expectations associated with operating at that level in New York City.

Luxury hotel experience and NYC Local 6 experience are essential requirements and will be prioritized in our review.
