Job Summary:

Join a growing immigration practice and help corporate clients navigate complex U.S. immigration matters.

National Law Firm is seeking an Immigration Associate with 2-3 years of business immigration experience to join a dynamic legal team. Working closely with the Immigration Partner, you will support a diverse range of employment-based immigration matters while providing exceptional client service to corporate clients.

What You'll Do:

• Prepare and file a wide range of employment-based nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions, including H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN, E-1/E-2, PERM, NIW, and EB-1 petitions.


• Draft responses to Requests for Evidence (RFEs), motions, and supporting documentation.


• Assist with PERM labor certification cases and employment-based green card processes.


• Support family-based immigration matters, including marriage-based applications and naturalization filings.


• Advise clients on I-9 compliance and employment eligibility verification requirements.


• Draft client communications and provide day-to-day immigration counseling.


• Track case progress, manage deadlines, and maintain case files.


• Stay current on immigration law developments and policy changes affecting employers and foreign national employees.

What You'll Bring:

• J.D. from an accredited law school.


• Admission to practice in New York.


• 2-3 years of business immigration experience.


• Experience with both nonimmigrant and immigrant visa matters.


• Exposure to family-based immigration and naturalization applications.


• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.


• Excellent communication and client-service abilities.


• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
