Client Implementation Project Coordinator

Position Summary

The Client Implementation Project Coordinator leads client software implementations from kickoff through go-live. This person serves as the primary client contact throughout the implementation process and is responsible for keeping projects organized, on schedule, and moving forward across multiple internal and external stakeholders.

The role combines project coordination, client communication, business analysis, software testing, training, and issue management. It is a strong fit for someone who enjoys managing complex projects, working directly with clients, and translating business needs into clear action items for technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multiple client implementations from kickoff through go-live.


• Manage project plans, timelines, milestones, risks, dependencies, and client expectations.


• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients throughout the implementation process.


• Lead recurring client meetings, testing sessions, training, and implementation follow-up.


• Gather client requirements and translate business needs into clear requests for product and technical teams.


• Document software issues, expected behavior, and client feedback and track items through resolution.


• Coordinate troubleshooting between clients, internal technical teams, and third-party vendors.


• Help distinguish between product issues, configuration needs, training gaps, and process questions.


• Maintain accurate project documentation and escalate risks or delays as needed.


• Support a smooth transition from implementation into ongoing support after go-live.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years of experience in software implementation, project coordination, project management, business analysis, client onboarding, or a similar role.


• Experience managing projects with multiple stakeholders, deadlines, and dependencies.


• Strong organization, follow-through, and client communication skills.


• Ability to lead meetings and hold both internal teams and clients accountable for next steps.


• Comfortable working with both business users and technical teams.


• Ability to understand software concepts and translate client needs into clear technical or product requirements.


• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Microsoft 365, or similar project and documentation tools.


• Experience with software testing, training, integrations, or go-live processes is helpful.


• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Background

Experience implementing enterprise software, SaaS platforms, or software used in complex or regulated environments is a plus, but direct industry experience is not required.
