Overview

In this role, you drive strategic partnerships for Chase's Business Bank, influencing senior leaders and cross-functional teams to shape value-creating deals. You'll analyze opportunities, negotiate structures, and oversee deal execution in a fast-paced, matrix environment. You'll work closely with finance, legal, and other partners to build compelling business cases and monitor the external landscape for opportunities. This is a high-visibility role focused on building partnerships that accelerate growth for small and mid-size businesses.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation, negotiation, and execution of strategic partnerships for the Business Bank
• Collaborate with finance, legal and other partners to develop business cases and deal constructs and ensure deal control compliance
• Provide updates to senior executives on deal work
• Maintain strong connectivity with other partnership teams
• Monitor external environment for competitive developments and potential partnership opportunities and share perspectives with line of business partners

Key requirements

• 7+ years of partnership or business development experience
• Proven ability to negotiate commercial deals and create value
• Ability to influence across levels and drive progress in a matrix organization
• Experience negotiating product and distribution partnerships; experience in retail banking
• Strong project management skills
• Strong written & verbal communication skills; strong PowerPoint / Excel skills
• Comfortable operating in a dynamic fast-paced and sometimes unstructured environment
• Bachelor Degree in Finance, Economics, or other related field
