Business Advisory & Outsourced Accounting Firm | National Presence | Hybrid Work Environment

A rapidly expanding Business Advisory & Outsourced Accounting Firm in Woodbridge with a national presence is seeking Staff Accountants, Senior Accountants, and Accounting Managers to join their growing team. Due to continued growth and increasing demand for our advisory, outsourced accounting, and tax services, the company is adding talented professionals across both their Accounting and Tax practice areas.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a modern, client-focused firm that provides outsourced accounting, financial management, tax, and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of small and mid-sized businesses. Their team partners closely with clients, serving as an extension of their accounting and finance departments while delivering strategic business insights.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting and financial reporting engagements for multiple clients.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Perform month-end and year-end close activities, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
• Prepare and review business, partnership, S-Corporation, and individual tax returns (Tax positions).
• Provide financial and operational insights to help clients make informed business decisions.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while serving as a trusted advisor.
• Assist clients with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and process improvements.
• Manage multiple engagements simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining exceptional client service.

Qualifications

• Public accounting, client accounting services (CAS), outsourced accounting, or business advisory experience preferred.
• Experience working in an accounting, advisory, or outsourcing firm is highly desirable.
• Experience managing multiple client relationships and engagements preferred.
• Strong accounting, financial reporting, and/or tax compliance experience.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and client service skills.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
