Accounting Manager | Growth Opportunity to Controller

Salary: $120,000–$140,000 + Bonus

We're partnering with a well-established commercial and industrial construction company to identify an experienced Accounting Manager who is ready to take the next step in their career. This role offers a clear path to Controller and the opportunity to work closely with the CFO in a growing organization.
What You'll Do
- Lead the monthly close process, including general ledger reconciliations and financial analysis.
- Manage bank reconciliations and journal entries.
- Oversee payroll reporting and compliance.
- Supervise customer invoicing and Accounts Receivable.
- Support process improvements and help strengthen the accounting function.
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of experience as an Accounting Manager, Controller, or Senior Bookkeeper.
- Strong understanding of GAAP.
- Advanced Excel and Microsoft 365 skills.
- Experience with accounting software.
- Construction or project-based accounting experience is a plus.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
