Mechanical Engineer – Phoenix, AZ

Experience: 4+ years

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join our engineering team in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will have a background in HVAC system design, building mechanical systems, and construction documentation for commercial and institutional projects.

Responsibilities:

• Design HVAC systems for commercial, educational, healthcare, and other building projects.
• Perform heating and cooling load calculations, equipment selection, and ductwork design.
• Prepare mechanical construction documents, specifications, and technical reports.
• Coordinate with electrical, plumbing, structural, and architectural teams.
• Conduct site visits, review submittals, and respond to construction-related RFIs.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, energy standards, and project requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 4+ years of mechanical engineering experience, preferably in MEP consulting.
• Experience with HVAC design and building mechanical systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit MEP.
• Familiarity with HVAC load calculations and energy modeling software preferred.
• EIT certification preferred; PE license is a plus.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
