Overview

We're seeking a detail-oriented Finance & Accounting Specialist to support a busy finance team. The role covers a range of finance and accounting areas, including financial planning and analysis, accounting, tax, treasury, accounts payable/receivable, and collections. It's a great opportunity for an early-career professional to gain broad exposure across the finance function.

Responsibilities

• Run financial reports and prepare supporting information for tax schedules and filings
• Support the preparation and submission of state and local tax filings and extensions
• Prepare the daily cash balance report and assist with cash transfers
• Monitor banking activity and follow up on outstanding checks and unclaimed property requirements
• Assist with preparing financial reports and ensure transactions are recorded accurately
• Review incoming correspondence and route or resolve requests as needed
• Provide administrative support to finance leadership, including records management and filing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred (equivalent experience considered)
• 1–3 years of finance or xevrcyc accounting experience
• Strong Excel skills for reconciliations and reporting
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong analytical skills to spot discrepancies, trends, and potential issues
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to quickly learn financial systems and software
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
