Blood Bank Medical Technologist (MT) / Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)

Shift: Evenings, 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Compensation: Competitive Pay + Evening Shift Differential

We are seeking an experienced Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join a specialized Blood Bank laboratory in the Overland Park, Kansas area.

Position Responsibilities:

• 
  

  Perform Blood Bank testing and procedures in accordance with established laboratory protocols.



• 
  

  Conduct blood typing, antibody screening, crossmatching, and compatibility testing.



• 
  

  Ensure accurate and timely reporting of laboratory results.



• 
  

  Maintain compliance with laboratory quality and safety standards.



• 
  

  Collaborate with laboratory personnel to support efficient operations and quality patient care.

Qualifications:

• 
  

  Bachelor's degree in a Science-related field required.



• 
  

  MT(ASCP) or MLT(ASCP) certification required.



• 
  

  Medical Technologists: Minimum of 3 years of Blood Bank experience.



• 
  

  Medical Laboratory Technicians: Minimum of 5 years of Blood Bank experience.



• 
  

  Strong technical knowledge of Blood Bank procedures and testing.



• 
  

  Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
