Accounting Manager - Remote – Future Growth – Cleveland Area!

Korn Ferry has partnered with our industry-leading and growing client for an Accounting Manager search.This is a highly visible leadership opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys partnering across the organization to drive financial accuracy, process improvement, and operational excellence.

The Accounting Manager will lead key accounting processes, oversee a team of accounting professionals, and serve as a trusted partner to finance and operational leadership. You will own the monthly close process, support audit and reporting initiatives, drive process improvements, and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting across a complex multi-location business.

Target Compensation up to $125K (depending on experience) + bonus and strong benefits.

REMOTE – Preference in Cleveland Area - Limited Travel for Quarterly Meetings

Scope of Responsibilities:

• Hands-on Accounting Manager that will own the accounting process for a large multi-location business
• Lead consolidations and monthly close to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, reconciliations, and account analysis
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals
• Serve as the primary accounting contact for external audit support and requests
• Partner with Finance, AP, AR, Treasury, Tax, and operational teams across the business
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and controls
• Support budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and special projects as needed
• Drive accountability and proactively identify potential concerns

Skills Needed:

• Targeting 5 to 10 years of experience – ownership of accounting processes
• Experience leading month-end close and financial reporting processes
• Background working in complex, multi-entity or multi-location organizations
• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance or related field
• CPA – Highly Preferred
• Prior Service experience plus
• Experience in a fast-paced, complex environment
