Lease Accounting Manager (43016)
Our client is a well-established, publicly traded, international organization known for its high-performing team, strong leadership, and collaborative culture. They are seeking a Lease Accounting Manager to oversee lease accounting activities, lead a direct report, and support various accounting initiatives across the organization.

Responsibilities
- Oversee lease accounting activities, ensuring compliance with ASC 842 and applicable accounting standards.
- Manage lease-related month-end and quarter-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Review lease agreements, assess accounting implications, and maintain accurate lease schedules and supporting documentation.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a direct report while ensuring accuracy and efficiency across lease accounting processes.
- Partner with accounting, finance, and cross-functional teams across international operations to support reporting and business initiatives.
- Participate in ad hoc projects, process improvements, and special accounting initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including strong technical knowledge of lease accounting and ASC 842.
- Public accounting and/or publicly traded company experience preferred, with exposure to complex, multinational accounting environments.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to lead others and collaborate across teams.
