Repair Tech - 259217

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electronic, optical, and software issues on OCT devices and other ophthalmic equipment


• Perform calibrations, alignments, testing, and functional checks to ensure equipment is working accurately


• Complete work orders and repair documentation in a timely manner


• Work with R&D and service teams to troubleshoot equipment and installation issues


• Maintain inventory and keep SOPs and documentation up to date


• Follow all safety, quality, ESD, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Strong mechanical, optical, and electronic troubleshooting skills


• Experience troubleshooting PC systems, motor controls, and software issues


• Microsoft Office experience; SAP experience is a plus


• Ability to work with small and delicate optical and electronic components


• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.


• Comfortable working in an ESD-controlled environment

Preferred Experience

• Medical device experience preferred


• 3+ years of experience as a Repair Technician, Field Service Technician, or similar technical repair role
