Counseling Center of West Michigan was founded in 2019 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, by a therapist who couldn’t find a suitable workplace in the area and believed there had to be a better option.

After surveying more than 200 private practice therapists about their experiences and their “wish list” for the ideal workplace, CCWM was born.

Today, CCWM has 13 locations, with two more opening in Lansing soon. While we’ve grown significantly, one thing has never changed: our providers and their experience comes first.

We believe that when providers have the support they need and deserve, are paid exceptionally well, and have the independence and autonomy to practice in a way that works for them, everyone benefits—including the patients we serve.

Small Caseload - average 18 (30 min) sessions/week: $65,000

Mid-Size Caseload - average 30 (30 min)sessions/week: $225,000

Full Caseload - average 65 (30 min) sessions/week: $380,000

Whether you see 6 patients a week or 45, your fee split is the same. Figures above are prior to the split taken.

We don’t believe pressure to produce is a healthy approach for therapists. Our generous fee split is designed to allow you to build the practice that works for you—without sacrificing the support and infrastructure you need to succeed.

And because CCWM takes care of the administrative side of your practice, you can focus on your patients—not running a business.
