The Opportunity:

Legacy Search Advisors is working with a nationally recognized accounting and advisory firm seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join its Assurance practice.

This opportunity is well suited for a public accounting professional who enjoys leading engagements, developing client relationships, and mentoring teams but may be interested in a new platform for continued career growth.

Responsibilities:

• Lead financial statement audit engagements from planning through completion.


• Manage client relationships and serve as a primary point of contact.


• Review audit workpapers and financial statements.


• Supervise, coach, and develop audit staff and seniors.


• Collaborate with partners and senior leadership on engagement execution and client service.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.


• Significant external audit experience within public accounting.


• Previous experience supervising audit engagements and staff.


• Strong technical accounting, audit, and client relationship skills.


• CPA preferred; confirm whether required for the specific opening.
