Help Build and Scale the Finance Operations of a Growing Healthcare Technology Company

MedWatchers is a healthcare technology and clinical services organization that partners with health plans, pharmacy benefit managers, pharmacies, and other healthcare stakeholders to improve medication access, adherence, quality outcomes, and member engagement through technology-enabled solutions.

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant, Finance Operations to join our growing finance team. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Finance, this role offers significant ownership, visibility, and the opportunity to help build a scalable finance function.

We're looking for someone who embraces modern technology and is excited about using AI-enabled technologies, workflow automation, and other emerging productivity tools to improve efficiency, strengthen analysis, enhance documentation, and support business growth.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and expense administration


• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations


• Lead assigned portions of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process


• Maintain accurate accounting records and internal controls


• Assist with audit, tax, and compliance activities


• Improve workflows through automation, process optimization, and technology-enabled solutions


• Support administration and optimization of accounting, banking, expense management, and customer invoicing systems


• Partner with leadership on operational and strategic initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field


• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience


• Experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close


• Demonstrated ability to independently own accounting processes, manage deadlines, and drive issues to resolution


• Strong Excel skills and understanding of U.S. GAAP


• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Xero, QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar accounting platforms


• Experience with Ramp or other AP and expense management tools


• Healthcare, healthcare technology, SaaS, or professional services experience


• CPA or CPA-track background


• Experience using AI-enabled technologies, workflow automation platforms, and modern productivity tools to improve accounting processes and operational efficiency


• Experience leading process improvement, automation, or systems implementation initiatives
