Commissioning Engineer

The Role

The company is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to lead commissioning and engineering projects from concept through construction.

• Lead commissioning and engineering projects.


• Manage project scope, schedules, and deliverables.


• Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and project teams.


• Lead commissioning of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems.


• Conduct site visits, functional testing, troubleshooting, and field investigations.


• Support client relationships and business development.


• Mentor junior engineers and project staff.


• Travel: Approximately 25–50%, with projects across the US.

The Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years' experience in MEP consulting, commissioning, or related engineering.


• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.


• Experience with complex mechanical/building systems.


• Strong HVAC knowledge; plumbing/electrical experience beneficial.


• Project coordination or project management experience.


• Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills.


• Ability to work independently and directly with clients.


• PE, CxA, CxP, BCxP, or LEED credentials are preferred.
