Water Business Group Right of Way Cross Sector Director

As Water Right of Way Director, you will shape HDR's WBG right of way program and drive its implementation. You'll align market priorities, expand geographic and sector reach, and translate client needs into real estate solutions. You will lead project and program management, mentor staff, and strengthen client relationships to showcase HDR's technical excellence. This is a high-impact role that blends strategy, execution, and cross-functional leadership within HDR's mission to improve public water infrastructure.

• Refine and oversee the WBG right of way program implementation
• Define market sector priorities and raise HDR's technical excellence in Right of Way
• Foster growth through geographic and market expansion and identify key project opportunities
• Collaborate with market sector leaders, technical staff, and clients to integrate right of way solutions
• Act as project or task manager on select projects and maintain utilization targets
• Support marketing and business development with strategic planning and client relationship activities
• Develop and align staff through recruitment, mentoring, and quality control
• Provide technical subject-matter leadership on Right of Way services and ensure best practices

• Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field
• 10+ years of experience in a related field
• Professional registration for leadership roles in technical design
• Experience managing diverse teams
• Experience with water-related infrastructure and with FHWA and Uniform Relocation Act proceedings
• Real Estate License(es) and/or related professional designations
