Job Description

Position Summary

The Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources team and employees across the organization. This role assists with recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, HR compliance, employee engagement initiatives, and day-to-day HR operations while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and exceptional customer service.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate employee records in HR systems and personnel files, ensuring compliance with employment and regulatory requirements.
  • Process HRIS transactions, including employee data updates, training records, and onboarding documentation.
  • Manage and troubleshoot the employee identification badge system.
  • Assist with recruitment activities, including candidate sourcing, interview scheduling, reference checks, and onboarding coordination.
  • Complete employment verification requests and monitor employee license and certification compliance.
  • Serve as a resource for employees by answering routine HR and policy-related questions and directing inquiries as appropriate.
  • Maintain HR reports, spreadsheets, metrics, and other departmental documentation.
  • Coordinate HR communications, correspondence, and incoming inquiries.
  • Support employee recognition programs, service awards, and company events.
  • Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Education

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Experience

  • 3 to 5 years of Human Resources or related administrative experience required.
  • Previous experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, or HR operations preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
