Finance Assistant

Position Overview

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will provide day to day FP&A support. You will accurately log and reconcile production floats, petty cash, and routine transactions to ensure seamless financial reporting across all media operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Production & Expense Accounting: Track daily bank reconciliations, reconcile Amex statements with corresponding receipts, and maintain organized digital archives.


• Float & Cash Logistics: Monitor and update float and petty cash logs in Sage, follow up with crew/team members for receipts, and post entries promptly.


• Global Payments & Transfers: Process outgoing payments, monitor foreign exchange rates to optimize multi-currency transfers, and manage international vendor payments (e.g. BILL).

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands on bookkeeping or finance experience (experience in media, agency, or production environments is a plus).


• Strong numeracy, advanced Excel skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to efficiently track down missing documentation.


• Proficiency in BILL, Gusto, Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks, Remote, and Sage.


• Experience using Notion to track tasks, manage databases, or organize team documentation is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience.


• Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
