Pharmacy Manager

Our client is looking for a Pharmacist in Charge to lead their community pharmacy in Fort Smith, AR. You’ll run day-to-day pharmacy operations, keep the pharmacy in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy, and build strong relationships with patients.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the designated Pharmacist in Charge and maintain compliance with Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy and federal regulations


• Oversee dispensing accuracy, patient counseling, inventory, and controlled substance records


• Lead, schedule, and develop pharmacy technicians and support staff


• Manage third-party billing, DIR/reimbursement issues, and vendor and wholesaler relationships


• Build relationships with prescribers, patients, and the community

Qualifications

• PharmD or BS in Pharmacy


• Active and in good standing, Arkansas pharmacist license


• Prior management or lead pharmacist experience preferred


• Strong communication and leadership skills
