Business Development & Marketing Manager

UrbanBuilt is growing, and we're looking for the right person to help us build what comes next.

UrbanBuilt, a Maryland-based general contractor specializing in commercial construction, is seeking a Business Development & Marketing Manager who enjoys building relationships, creating opportunities, and connecting great people with great projects.

This is not a traditional marketing position. Business development and relationship building are at the heart of the role.

This position works closely with our leadership and Preconstruction teams to strengthen relationships with existing clients, develop new relationships, identify upcoming construction opportunities, and help position UrbanBuilt to win great projects.

The Business Development & Marketing Manager will also help tell the UrbanBuilt story through practical, targeted marketing that supports those efforts.

The ideal candidate is personable, proactive, organized, and genuinely enjoys developing relationships. We're looking for someone who can earn people's trust, stay connected, recognize opportunities, follow through, and represent UrbanBuilt well.

Business Development & Relationship Management

• Build relationships with current, past, and prospective clients


• Develop new project opportunities and strategic industry relationships


• Connect with restaurant groups, developers, architects, brokers, consultants, and other industry partners


• Attend client meetings, networking events, and industry functions


• Manage and follow up on our business development pipeline

Project Pursuits & Marketing

• Work with leadership and Preconstruction on project pursuits


• Help create proposals, presentations, qualifications packages, and sales materials


• Support UrbanBuilt's website, social media, project announcements, email communications, and overall brand presence

Required

• Ability to represent UrbanBuilt professionally and build long-term relationships

Preferred

• Experience in commercial construction, real estate development, architecture/engineering, hospitality, restaurants, or a related industry
