Role Description Team Members at El Pollo Loco in Goleta, CA provide friendly, efficient service to guests in an on-site restaurant environment. This is a part-time role that includes greeting guests, taking orders, handling payments, and preparing and assembling menu items according to company standards. Team Members help maintain a clean and organized dining and kitchen area, restock supplies, and follow food safety and sanitation guidelines. The role also involves working collaboratively with coworkers, supporting drive-thru or front counter operations as needed, and delivering a positive guest experience at all times.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide attentive, courteous guest service and communicate clearly with customers and team members.
• Basic cash-handling skills and comfort using point-of-sale (POS) systems for orders and payments.
• Capability to follow food preparation procedures, portioning, and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to perform cleaning, stocking, and general maintenance tasks to uphold restaurant cleanliness.
• Reliability in attendance, punctuality, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Strong teamwork skills, with a positive attitude and readiness to learn new responsibilities.
• Previous restaurant, retail, or customer service experience is helpful but not required; training is provided.
