Information Technology Administrator

Onsite IT Administrator

Seeking an experienced IT Administrator to lead technology operations.

This hands-on role will oversee IT infrastructure, servers, networking, Microsoft 365, ERP applications, VoIP, cybersecurity, and company-wide hardware and software.

The IT Administrator will serve as the primary IT resource for remote locations, lead technology implementation for new distribution centers, and supervise an IT Support Technician. This position offers significant independence, the opportunity to improve IT processes and standards, and a key role in developing the company's AI initiatives as the business grows.

Key Responsibilities

• IT Leadership: Oversee company-wide IT operations, supervise and mentor the IT Support Technician, help expand the IT team, and coordinate budgets and technology roadmaps.


• Distribution Center Support: Lead IT setup for new locations, including internet connectivity, networks, Wi-Fi, servers, phones, computers, printers, and warehouse devices. Travel to sites as needed for installations, training, and troubleshooting.


• Systems & Networking: Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, virtual servers, LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, switches, and wireless infrastructure.


• Business Applications: Manage ERP applications, user accounts, permissions, licensing, renewals, upgrades, and vendor relationships.


• Microsoft 365 & Devices: Administer Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Entra ID, MFA, conditional access, and device management through Intune and related tools. Own employee onboarding, role changes, and offboarding across company systems.


• Security & Disaster Recovery: Maintain endpoint and email security, vulnerability remediation, backups, restore testing, and disaster recovery procedures.


• VoIP & Employee Support: Manage phone systems and telecom providers while delivering responsive, professional support to employees.


• Documentation & AI Initiatives: Maintain IT documentation and asset inventories, establish consistent standards across locations, and help evaluate and implement secure, responsible AI tools.

Required Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in systems administration or a similar IT role.


• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.


• Experience administering Microsoft 365 and Entra ID in a hybrid environment.


• Solid understanding of networking, including TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, and wireless networks.


• Experience with ERP or other business applications, virtual servers, backups, and endpoint security.


• Ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and manage IT operations across multiple locations.


• Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 20%, including occasional overnight stays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supervising or mentoring IT staff.


• Experience launching IT infrastructure for warehouses, distribution centers, or manufacturing facilities.


• Familiarity with VoIP, Fortinet FortiGate, and Cisco networking equipment.


• Knowledge of PowerShell, Microsoft Intune, and Windows Autopilot.


• Relevant certifications such as MS-102, AZ-104, CompTIA Network+ or Security+, or CCNA.
