Inside Sales Representative / Customer Service Representative

Position Summary

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Inside Sales / Customer Service Representative to serve as a primary point of contact for customers while providing sales support to the outside sales team. This role focuses on customer service, order processing, and coordination between sales, operations, and production, with limited quoting and direct sales responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound customer inquiries, answer product questions, and provide timely follow-up.


• Support outside sales representatives with customer requests, order entry, and sales coordination.


• Process sales orders and maintain accurate records and order tracking.


• Coordinate with sales, operations, and production to ensure customer needs and order requirements are met.


• Monitor order status, communicate updates, and help resolve customer issues.


• Maintain organized customer records and support efficient sales processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of inside sales, customer service, or sales support experience preferred.


• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.


• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.


• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across departments.


• Experience with CRM systems and sales order processing preferred.


• B2B or industrial product experience is a plus.
