Insurance Defense Attorney

A well-regarded insurance defense law firm with an office in Joliet, IL is seeking a Litigator to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Handle all phases of civil litigation, from filing through trial, for insurance and corporate clients


• Conduct depositions, motion practice, and court appearances


• Manage a caseload of general liability and related defense matters


• Coordinate with the firm's Chicago office and broader litigation team as needed

Qualifications:

• Civil litigation experience, insurance defense background preferred


• Active Illinois bar admission


• Comfortable managing a full litigation caseload with autonomy


• Strong writing and courtroom skills

The annual salary for this position is between $130,000 and $180,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
