Job Description
Job Description
Project Details / Open Reason:
- Support Radiology and Cardiology Epic initiatives at a large University Health System on the East Coast, as part of a large-scale Epic Refuel / Modernization effort.
- Phase 2 includes building a new procedure catalog for both Radiology and Cardiology. Radiology is consolidating from roughly 3.5 separate procedure catalogs down to one, effectively unwinding and rebuilding approximately 14 years of accumulated Radiant build.
- The client is actively evaluating Cupid for Cardiology, not yet implemented and no formal decision made, so current Cardiology build should be designed with future Cupid compatibility in mind.
- These projects are highly cross-functional, touching an estimated 12 to 15 IT and clinical teams, including PACS, third-party imaging systems, networking, server, inpatient clinical order sets, and revenue cycle.
Required Skills:
- Epic Radiant certification required.
- Prior experience supporting Epic implementations, go-lives, or modernization/refuel initiatives.
- Comfortable working in a fully remote capacity with a distributed project team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, given the highly cross-functional nature of this work.
- New procedure catalog build for both Radiology and Cardiology
Desired Skills:
- Epic Cupid certification
- Domain experience in Cardiology or Radiology specifically is as important as certification type, ideally one of the two analysts leans more Cardiology-focused and one leans more Radiology-focused, though this is a preference rather than a strict split.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Provide analyst-level support for Radiology and/or Cardiology Epic build, including the new procedure catalog consolidation project.
- Partner with the client's IT team, project leadership, and application owners across the many stakeholder teams involved in these highly integrated projects.
- Maintain accurate status reporting and task tracking within the client's project management systems as required.
