About the Opportunity

Core Clinical Partners is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine physician to serve as Medical Director for the Emergency Department at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton, Georgia. This leadership position offers the opportunity to combine clinical practice with administrative leadership while helping drive quality, operational excellence, physician engagement, and departmental growth.

The Medical Director will work collaboratively with hospital leadership, nursing leadership, and Core Clinical Partners' operational team to support a high-performing emergency department focused on delivering exceptional patient care.

Opportunity Highlights

• Annual ED Volume: ~40,000 visits


• Physician Coverage: 36 hours/day


• APP Coverage: 40 hours/day

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and operational leadership for the Emergency Department


• Partner with hospital administration to support departmental goals and strategic initiatives


• Lead quality improvement, patient experience, and performance improvement efforts


• Support physician and APP recruitment, onboarding, mentorship, and retention


• Facilitate communication between clinical staff, hospital leadership, and Core Clinical Partners


• Participate in peer review, credentialing support, and regulatory readiness activities


• Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and clinical excellence

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine preferred


• Board Certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physicians with significant Emergency Medicine leadership experience will be considered


• Prior Medical Director, Associate Medical Director, Site Lead, or other physician leadership experience preferred


• Unrestricted Georgia medical license (or ability to obtain)


• Strong commitment to patient-centered care and physician engagement
