Burstyn Law is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our team in a hands-on role handling complex, high-stakes business litigation across state and federal courts, predominantly in Miami and also in New York. Associates at our boutique are fully involved in strategic planning, argue at hearings, take depositions, meet with clients, and have fun while doing it. Responsibilities · Develop and execute litigation strategy in coordination with the team at every phase of a matter · Draft pleadings, dispositive and discovery motions, briefs, and other substantive filings, and argue motions before the court · Conduct and defend fact witness and expert depositions, manage and litigate discovery disputes · Counsel clients and serve as a point of contact throughout the litigation lifecycle Qualifications · Admitted and in good standing with The Florida Bar · 4-8 years of complex commercial or business litigation experience · Demonstrated drafting, legal research, and oral advocacy skills · Proficiency with document review platforms, such as Relativity · Strong analytical, organizational, and written communication skills · Works well both independently and collaboratively within a close-knit team · Must strictly follow the Application Instructions below Education · Juris Doctor To apply, please follow the Application Instructions below: · All qualified candidates may apply via email only by sending their resume to Bimaya.DeSilva@BurstynLaw.com with the word “Associate” in the subject line of the email. · All applications must be accompanied by a statement of interest in Word that is 1 page and must be in Garamond font, size 11.5, with 1.5 spacing.
