• Lead and grow a Cardiothoracic Surgery program with strong system support
• Collaborate with established Interventional, Electrophysiology, General Cardiology, and
Vascular teams
• Build a sustainable 24-hour call model with shared coverage and PRN/locum support as needed
• Leverage a strong referral base from employed physicians and community providers
### Qualifications
• MD or DO
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery
• Unrestricted Iowa medical license (or eligibility)
• Unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications
• Experience building or expanding a program preferred
• Collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset
• Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)
• J-1 waiver sponsorship available
