John Robshaw Textiles | Fabric & Wallcovering Division

John Robshaw Textiles is seeking an experienced Independent Sales Representative to grow our fabric and wallcovering business throughout California.

We are open to candidates interested in representing either Northern California or Southern California, as well as highly qualified representatives capable of covering the entire state.

This opportunity is ideally suited to an established independent, multi-line sales representative seeking to add a distinctive, design-driven collection of luxury textiles and wallcoverings to their portfolio.

Territories Available

• Northern California

• Southern California

• Entire California Territory (for qualified candidates)

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow John Robshaw Textiles fabric and wallcovering business throughout the assigned territory

• Maintain and strengthen relationships with new and existing trade accounts

• Prospect and develop new relationships with interior designers, architects, design firms, and hospitality firms

• Present new fabric and wallcovering collections

• Conduct regular client visits, presentations, and product education

• Maintain consistent communication, follow-up, and territory development

Compensation

• Independent Contractor (1099)

• Commission-based compensation

Job Requirements

We are seeking candidates with:

• Proven experience representing luxury textiles, wallcoverings, furnishings, or complementary interior design products

• Established relationships within the interior design and A&D community

• Previous experience as an independent or multi-line manufacturer's representative preferred

• An active customer base and strong knowledge of the California market

• Demonstrated ability to develop new accounts and grow existing business

• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills

• Strong organizational and territory management skills

• Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with the John Robshaw Textiles team
