Sales Assistant

Role Description This full-time, on-site Sales Assistant role is based in New York, NY. The Sales Assistant supports the sales team with day-to-day operational and administrative tasks, including preparing sales materials, updating order and account information, and maintaining accurate records in internal systems. This role helps coordinate communications between sales representatives, customers, and internal departments, including merchandising, production, and logistics. The Sales Assistant assists with sample management, line sheets, and showroom preparation, and may help track sales performance, inventory levels, and delivery schedules. The role requires close collaboration with team members to ensure timely responses to customer needs and to contribute to overall sales efficiency.

• Clear and professional Communication skills, both written and verbal, to support sales correspondence and presentations.


• Foundational Sales skills, including comfort with sales processes, follow-up, and supporting account management activities.


• Solid Organization Skills to manage multiple accounts, deadlines, samples, and documentation with attention to detail.


• Proficiency with office productivity tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, email and CRM systems) and comfort working with data and reports.


• Ability to work on-site in New York, NY, collaborate with a team, and adapt in a fast-paced, retail-driven environment.


• Prior experience in apparel, wholesale, retail, or a related sales support role is preferred but not required.


• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, merchandising, or a related field is a plus.


• Salary range $70-$90K
