Job Title: Human Resources Director

Location: Sulphur, LA

Pay: $120,000 - 130,000

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred


• 5+ years of HR leadership experience in a hands-on, operational environment


• Transportation, logistics, trucking, or fleet industry experience preferred


• Strong background in employee relations, investigations, and performance management


• Experience supporting a high-volume, hourly workforce


• Knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, and policy development


• Proven ability to partner with Operations and Safety leadership


• Experience with talent acquisition, workforce planning, and employee retention


• Strong leadership, communication, and change management skills

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead HR strategy and day-to-day HR operations


• Partner with leadership to support workforce planning, employee engagement, and business objectives


• Oversee employee relations, investigations, and performance management


• Drive recruiting, onboarding, and retention initiatives


• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices


• Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations


• Coach and support managers on employee relations and HR matters


• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and overall workforce effectiveness
