Accounting Manager
We're partnering with a growing company that is looking for an Accounting Manager to oversee both the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys leading a team, improving processes, and being hands-on in the day-to-day accounting operations.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing AP and AR teams, monitoring cash flow, overseeing collections and vendor payments, and supporting month-end close activities. This role offers strong visibility across the organization and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the accounting function.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable operations
- Lead, mentor, and develop the AP and AR team
- Review vendor payments, customer collections, and aging reports
- Monitor cash flow and working capital activities
- Assist with month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and strengthen internal controls
- Partner with leadership and other departments to ensure smooth financial operations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of accounting experience with oversight of AP and AR functions
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
