Within our Assisted Living Facility, you will collaborate alongside a passionate team of healthcare professionals in a supportive environment focused on geriatric care. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough history and physical examinations of residents to assess their pain management needs.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including bloodwork and imaging, to inform treatment decisions.
• Provide medication management, including both narcotic and non-narcotic options, adhering to established best practices.
• Assess residents for appropriateness of interventional pain treatments, such as epidural steroid injections, trigger point injections, and TENS unit use.
• Perform necessary pain management procedures like botox/Dysport injections, greater occipital nerve blocks, and remove temporary spinal cord stimulator leads.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physical and occupational therapists, to create holistic care plans.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the patient electronic health records system, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this position is on geriatric patients residing in the Assisted Living Facility. Our residents often present with complex chronic pain conditions necessitating individualized and empathetic care strategies. You will apply your expertise to manage pain effectively, improving overall patient well-being and functionality.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree or higher from an accredited school of nursing.
• An active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of Texas.
• Knowledge and experience in geriatrics are highly desirable.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in critical care, family nursing, inpatient and outpatient care, pediatrics, telemedicine, or a similar hospital setting.
• Those newly graduated and eligible for advanced practice roles are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Previous experience in pain management or procedural dermatology is a plus but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 85,000 to USD 160,000 yearly, commensurate with experience and education. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
