Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to diagnose and manage both acute and chronic medical conditions related to pain management.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that may include medication management, physical therapy referrals, and alternative therapies.
• Order and analyze diagnostic tests, making informed decisions based on the results to adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on pain management strategies, including lifestyle modifications, medication adherence, and preventive healthcare measures.
• Prescribe appropriate medications and therapies, ensuring adherence to the latest clinical guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate medical records in accordance with healthcare regulations and clinic protocols.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the clinic's service delivery and patient outcomes.
• Stay informed of the latest advancements in pain management and healthcare regulations to ensure optimum patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily serves patients dealing with various pain disorders ranging from musculoskeletal injuries to chronic pain syndromes. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in assessing and managing the pain needs of a diverse patient population, ensuring that they receive tailored and compassionate care in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current certification as a Nurse Practitioner and possess an active state nursing license in New York.
• A Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program is required.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in a relevant specialty, particularly in pain management or a related field.

Compensation and Benefits

The Nurse Practitioner position offers a competitive salary range between $120,000 and $220,000 annually, commensurate with experience and professional qualifications.
