CONTROLLER (FORTUNE 500 CONSUMER PRODUCTS)

We are representing a globally recognized consumer products organization who is actively seeking a Controller due a recently announced retirement. This organization is a domestic leader in their space and pride themselves on an outstanding culture predicated on benefits, compensation, and employee satisfaction. The Controller will report to the VP/General Manager who is looking to begin the interview process ASAP.

POSITION OVERVIEW

• Candidate will report to the VP/GM and will have a strong working relationship with the Divisional CFO.


• Responsible for leading month end close of $250M operation.


• Candidate will have accountability over Cost, FP&A, and reporting.


• Review and analyze plant inventory transactions


• Responsible for leading month end close process


• Analyzes financial data obtained through studies to determine effects of costs on business


• Provide executive leadership with detailed reports for use in making business decisions and controlling expenditures


• Participate in projects and support CFO, VP/GM, and Operations Leadership.

POSTION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar field is required. Advanced degree/and or certification preferred (CPA, CMA, MBA, MSA, etc..)


• Candidate should have at least 3-5 years of Plant/Manufacturing based Controller/Accounting Leadership experience


• Experience leading month end close process


• Targeting "Business Partner" with General Management/Operations (in context to "resource")
