Senior Accountant (Falls Church)

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Accountant to join a growing accounting team. This position offers a broad range of responsibilities, opportunities to improve processes, and room for professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial schedules
• Review account activity and resolve discrepancies
• Assist with accounting across multiple entities
• Support audits and internal controls
• Collaborate with other departments and provide guidance to junior staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and financial close procedures
• Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• CPA or CPA eligibility preferred
