Tax Accountant

The Atlantic Group has partnered with an investment management firm in the Greenwich, CT area. They have an immediate need for a Tax Accountant to join their team. This position is a full-time contract role with the opportunity to become permanent based on performance.

Summary: Our client, a $500M+ credit-focused asset manager, is hiring an Investment Fund Tax Associate in Greenwich, CT. This in-office role offers strong exposure to partnership tax reporting across credit investments along with excellent culture and long-term growth. You will review fund tax filings including Forms 1065, K-1s, 1120, and 1120-RIC, support PFIC and CFC reporting (Forms 8621 and 5471), and work closely with fund administrators and internal accounting teams to ensure accurate tax reporting and investor allocations. We’re seeking professionals with partnership tax experience within public accounting or asset management, ideally supporting investment funds or alternative credit strategies.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-6:00pm. 4 days in the office, 1 day work from home.

Requirements:

-Bachelor’s Degree required

-Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting strongly preferred

-3+ years of experience

-CPA preferred

-Strong Federal tax experience required

-Advanced Excel skills required

-Experience with AI would be a plus
